Downton Tennis Club is a vibrant, friendly club with a full range of adult and junior activities, Located within easy reach of Salisbury, Fordingbridge, Ringwood and The New Forest (click here to find us).
Our aim is to provide everybody with the opportunity to play tennis - non-members are welcome. So whether you have never played before or are used to competing regularly there will be something for you.
Downton Tennis Club and Pure Tennis work closely with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA - National governing Body of Tennis in England) in order to increase participation of tennis at the grass roots level and improve standards of more performance minded players through the performance programme.
Head Coach James Kirkpatrick (CCA, LTA and PTR qualified and licensed) has seven years experience of teaching all ages and abilities and has been a qualified coach since June 2002. He is also a certified NLP Sports Practitioner as well as being a Prince Tech-Rep for the South-east of England. All of the team have been criminal records bureau (CRB) checked and have valid first aid certificates.
The club is part of the Downton Leisure Centre complex and players are able to enjoy many on-site facilities.

Membership renewal reminder...
Renewals were due by 1st April. If you have not yet renewed your membership then make sure you do it by the end of April to avoid missing out on the Wimbledon ballot. This year we have 15 pairs of tickets allocated to our club!

ONLINE COURT RESERVATION
We now have an online court booking facility for our members which can be accessed at www.squashbooking.com/downton
You will be able to use this once we have sent you your username and password by email.
You will also be able to link up with players looking for a team mate/opponent. We suggest that the first time you log in to the booking site that you change your password.

THURSDAY MORNINGS
From 10am until 12midday. Free to members, just £5 to non-members. Open to all. Turn up and play under the supervision of a coach. Meet new friends, have fun, get fitter! No need to book.
